Yes, it is! We have been experiencing some lovely weather here in South Florida! It's 71 degrees as I write this. I am hanging out at Lauderdale by the Sea writing this update and looking at the ocean real and in person. What a treat! It's so beautiful and I want to take it in so I am going to keep this short. Reef Safe Sunscreen Protection for Spring Break Fun & Sun!

It's Spring-break and I am rolling down A1A in my SUV after my swim watching the hundreds of palm trees on the avenue blow in the soft warm breeze. Barges and boats float on a beautifully inviting turquoise ocean that seems to go on for eternity. As the breeze rushes in from my rolled down windows it washes through my long brown hair I catch myself smiling in a hypnotic relaxed gaze. The calm ocean colors mixed with the blue sky subdue any stress I have encountered today and once again, I reach my Zen. Ahhh, so this is Florida.  It's...

After realizing how important is it to pay attention to the environment, I decided to step up and get certified so I could help gather information for research scientists. I fell in love with the Cenotes when my husband and I took a trip to Mexico. Dipping into the crystal clear waters there surrounded by the living beauty of caves and caverns in the forests was like a time capsule into the past before commercial buildings crowded everything. It was quiet and peaceful. I feared it would change soon. I felt like the waters of the world needed to be...

I am studying to become a Master Scuba Diver with a focus on the Eco-environment. I am proud of it because I am petrified of sharks. Yep. I admit it. Thank you JAWS for scaring the crap out of everyone!  Still. Even if just a Hollywood Film, sharks are big and have crazy ragged teeth. So why on earth would I decide to get into diving then you ask? Well, it's simple. I have always loved nature. From the forest animals to the ocean, to microscopic life. I have always enjoyed seeing the beauty of creation. I guess it's the...
